Founded as an academy in 2014, Grace Music Academy, Bhopal is a place that welcomes all types of learners who are passionate or curious about music. At Grace Music Academy, we believe that music can truly transform a person's life.
For over 10 years, our goal and vision have been to inspire all our learners to develop a passion for music, enabling them to contribute something valuable to the world. We believe that music is a powerful means of expression and connection, and we strive to cultivate this passion in each of our learners.
By nurturing their musical talents and fostering a deep appreciation for the art, we aim to equip our learners with the skills and confidence to share their music with others. We love to work in a team and realize the potential of working, learning, and growing together.

Keyboard
A keyboard is an electronic instrument that comes with several functionalities. It is ideal for a beginner player or someone who is just starting their music journey. We at GMA, welcome learners of all levels.
Keyboards have multiple volume options and can often produce sounds like piano, horns, strings, organs, synthesizers, and more. For a seamless learning experience, we recommend starting with the keyboards first, but if the piano is within reach, you can also begin with that.
The keyboard also allows you to play with backing tracks. Playing the keyboard is also good for encouraging exact playing in time. At GMA, you can find a comfortable experience in learning to play the keyboard at your own pace.

Piano
Are you someone who has always wanted to learn how to play the piano? The piano is one of the most versatile instruments a person can learn. It is an acoustic instrument with fully weighted keynotes. At GMA, we welcome all learners of piano at every level. Learning piano while may seem easy at first, requires the right guidance and focus.
We recommend that a beginner start with the keyboard and slowly progress toward the Piano, but if piano is in reach, one may begin with that. A keyboard will prove better in setting the base and foundation as piano keys are heavier than keyboard keys. With our curated lesson notes and plans, you are all set to become a lover of the piano!
Classes are available in both online and offline modes.
Drums
At GMA, one can also find the right facilitation for learning to play drums, whether you are a beginner player curious to learn how to play drums, an intermediate, or an advanced drum player. The acoustic drum set facility at GMA should be just what you need to get started.
While drumming could seem intimidating to learn at first, it's never too late to start learning how to play drums. We try to make the learning experience as feasible for you as possible. For some players, drumming can feel a bit hard or easy, as everyone has a varied pace of picking up the rhythm.
Classes are only available in offline mode.

Chetanya Thakur
Chetanya is a music teacher, facilitator at GMA, and songwriter/record producer from Bhopal with 15+ years of teaching experience and certification from Prayag (Hindustani classical) & ABRSM. A person with global exposure and always looking forward to making new connections, Chetanya is also someone who facilitates students in pursuing music with dedication, discipline, and passion.
P.S: Recently, at the ABRSM Felicitation Ceremony 2024, held at City Montessori School, Lucknow, Chetanya received the felicitation on behalf of GMA as the Director from Mr. Chris Cobb, CEO of ABRSM.

What age groups do we teach?
We welcome students from 8 years and above!

Do I need to own a piano to take the lessons?
Since your learning journey is going to be long, we highly encourage you to have one. This is beneficial for everyday practice.

What should I expect in a typical piano lesson?
A typical piano lesson at GMA would include warm-up exercises, theory practice, repertoire selection, or other components based on the level and current requirement of the students.

How can a grade certificate be useful for me?
Every student gets credit points after clearing the grades, which are useful when he/she goes abroad for higher studies or even in India. These credit points come in very handy at the time of admission to universities. Ofqual is the regulating body for ABRSM which is highly recognised globally, hence these grade certificates can prove advantageous for your child.
